  i heard today about a former jw/now apostate who is dying in hospital.

  this information was accompanied by the comment of "wouldn't be awful to be lying there in hospital,dying as an apostate!

  This is a case of parents being manipulated to manipulate their children. The use of the word 'encouraged' in the KM is laughable- its not encouragement its scaremongering, inducing fear with the statement 'shoulder your responsibility before Jehovah' - yes folks the big J ain't gonna be happy with you-so ya better start manipulating those kids! Praps you could scare them senseless as we do you!

  so, i've been out for 2 years now.

  just picked up and walked away from the wacky religion that tried to control every part of my life through fear and guilt.

  i've been wondering as the months go by what would happen when an elder finally showed up at my door and pressed the issue as to why i ceased all activity and then tried to reactivate me.
